Emerald Sunrise begins with a rather calamitous draping of sun rays on the land, in a rather clumsy manner on the glockenspiel. A gentle harp and string harmony gently bring the new day into blossom.
This was part-written at 5 in the morning in Frillesås, Sweden, while watching a sunrise over the hills and moors. The "emerald" is the miles of grass and shrubbery I had in view.
