A version of Meteorites was released last year, but a revised and adjusted version has been put into the album purely for how well it fits in with the theme and the sound of the album. The track is a gentle journey through a galaxy and a meteorite cloud, symbolised by the pounding drumbeat. I don't like all this stuff about space being a place for wars and laser fire and horrendous hyper-tragedy that I see too often in movies. Space is the most staggering place we could ever feast our eyes upon, and certainly in some places, one of the most placid. Even meteorites can make our starlit skies a movie in itself.
The track was inspired by a night under the stars in Veddige, Sweden, watching a meteor shower light up the sky.
